What happens when I edit, remove, disable, or delete lookbook content?

Edits and removals preserve shared assets, disabling is reversible, and deleting a lookbook is permanent.

  • Edit a shared photo: saving it also updates every enabled lookbook that uses it. The editor names those lookbooks before you save.
  • Remove a photo from one lookbook: the photo stays available to other lookbooks, and the original image in Shopify Files is unchanged.
  • Replace an image: its product tags are kept, so move the markers if the products appear in different places.
  • Disable a lookbook: it stops showing on your store, while its saved photos and settings are kept.
  • Delete a lookbook: the lookbook and its settings are permanently removed and cannot be restored. Saved photos, other lookbooks, and the original Shopify Files images are kept.
Deleting an individual product tag also requires confirmation and cannot be undone after you save.
